In an interview with The Birmingham Mail, Andy has briefly discussed the staging of Doves’ forthcoming tour.

Birmingham Mail.net

“Because the venues on this tour are a bit bigger we are working out another couple of songs and features.

“We are doing this new intro film which sounds very exciting but I can’t really tell you any more than that.

“I hope it’s good now I’ve built it up.”

Review Of Brighton Dome Concert

Today’s Independent On Sunday newspaper, carries an alleged live review of Doves’ concert at Brighton’s Dome on April 16th.

Reading the “review”, it’s entirely possible that the author, Simon Price, didn’t attend the show at all. He erroneously refers to ’10:03′ as ‘Terminal 3’ and cites the lyric, “Like a moth to a flame” as being a cliché… A cliché it may be – but it’s a good one – unlike constant comparisons to Elbow (a comparison which Mr. Price egotistically lays claim to originating).
