Doves provided the soundtrack for BT Sport’s coverage of the UEFA Europa League final this evening. If you missed it, you can watch it again as Doves will close out BT Sport’s coverage of the Champions League final on Sunday.

We’re teasing a new track ‘Forest House’ the closing track on ‘The Universal Want’ –but to hear it first, you’re gonna have to play  it  first!

To help you, we’ve had the music translated into scores for piano, bass, rhythm and lead guitars.

You can either stick religiously to these scores or use them as a template to create anything you like, using whatever instruments are at hand.

If you’re a little unsure of any of the chords, a quick search of YouTube will usually bring up a bloke with a beard and jumper showing you where to put your fingers.

Video: Words, Andalucia, Catch The Sun

Celebmix have posted an interview they did with Andy. The topic of discussion of course is the new album, an excerpt below. Andy also shares his thoughts on the possibility of resuming live shows next spring.

What are some of your proudest moments on the album?

Yeah, there were a couple of moments in the studio when we were playing things back and thinking, ‘this sounds great’. There’s a lot of playing on this album. Some of the songs on our previous records have been like a patchwork quilt, you know, just putting stuff together. On this record, there’s quite a lot of live playing and it was good to see that the chemistry between us was still there which is something that I think all of us in the band cherish. There were some moments in the studio where there was a really good buzz.

On Sunday July 26th, Doves took part in their second #TimsTwitterListeningParty this time for The Last Broadcast. The event was part of a weekend of events put on by Bluedot festival, the weekend the festival should have taken place at Jodrell Bank.
