Earlier today Jimi and the band performed live in session on the Lauren Laverne show. Panic Tree was played as was a lovely acoustic version of Ghosts of the Empties.

It was revealed the new single Live Like a River will be released June 2nd, backed with a couple remixes   including one by Andy Votel .

Jimi is now out on tour across the UK & Ireland. Here is the setlist for the first show in Sheffield thanks to nikkijaydee at Doves forum.

Lots going on – Jimi just announced he will be supporting Elbow at their second Eden Project show in July. Jimi heads out on his first full headline tour next month. Several shows (Manchester, Glasgow last I heard) are sold out so don’t hang about. For the very latest Jimi news keep yer eye on Jimi’s website.

Last weekend Jimi played live for Dermot O’Leary on BBC Radio 2, where he performed a lovely version of Bill Callahan’s Mother of the World. Go give it a listen right here.
