If you are in the UK, remember to tune into C4’s Evo Music Rooms tonight at 12:05am. Doves perform the new single Andalucia, plus an old favourite. The show also features The Drums & The Specials.

Live From Abbey Road

Doves recently recorded a live session at Abbey Road. The session will be aired on Channel Four as part of the Live From Abbey Road TV series. Doves appear alongside Noisettes and Lyle Lovett to be aired November 7th.

Finally, here’s the long-awaited video of the show ‘4music Favourites: Doves’, which aired on Channel 4 in the U.K., nearly a week ago. The show contains brief interviews with the band and live performances of four songs.

NME & C4 Video

On the NME doves microsite, you can now view a documentary about the recording process of Kingdom Of Rust. Some interesting shots, including what could be a sneak preview of the House Of Mirrors video. It would appear this would have been on the special edition DVD that was advertised early on, but was eventually withdrawn.

Channel 4 aired a 30 minute doves music special Thursday morning, Which included some live cuts. If you are in the UK you can watch the show via this link. I hope to be able to upload the video & audio clips from this at some point very soon.
