  • Lyrics

    Drive with me
Do the things you won’t believe
    Drive with me
Past the city and down to sea
    Crushing dreams
    Leave me be
    I cannot sleep

    Drive with me
Past the city and down to sea
    Crushing dreams
    Leave in peace
    Let me be

    Oh, it’s ingrained
    It’s ingrained in me
    Oh, I soothe my pain
    It’s ingrained in me

    Drive with me
    Drive with me

    NME Review

Epic and dazed, the 'Sea EP' follows in the footsteps of last year's 'Cedar EP' by offering us more grand gestures and stoned romance.

Badly Drawn Boy’s sometime backing band continue their steady rise to greatness with this latest instalment of acoustic psychedelia. Epic and dazed, the ‘Sea EP’ follows in the footsteps oflast year’s ‘Cedar EP’ by offering us more grand gestures and stoned romance.
If this was 1984, even as we speak the Doves would be having their photo taken halfway up a snowy mountain. But it isn’t. They live in downtown Manchester and they’ll probably punch the next person to compare them to early U2.

    How about The Cure, then?
