Hallucinations of the desperate

Hallucinations of the desperate

First off...if I was a proper maniacal despot, I'd totally force Doves back together....so while I attempt global domination, I seriously just wish they had one more concert. One last tribute to some amazing music with powerful memories that always accompany such brilliance.
Even if they have moved on, perhaps we haven't.
Like a proper cowboy, make one last stand, then ride off into the sunset.

Do it!!!

As I headed out west this beauty did remain,
Through an English village, landscapes washed in rain

totally agree. Despite being at warehouse, which at times did feel a little like a last broadcast, as they had concerts booked never thought it was. 1 more would do for me at my age.

We assume they still talk, but life takes over...family, etc...
Time passes.
Eventually the gas bill has to be paid and reforming to play some gigs in Blighty to cover the cost seems attractive.
But what does it take to do this?
Money. Gear. Rehersals. More money. Van hire. Lights. Sound.
Spending your money, or someone else's, with no guarantee of return.

If we really want th boys to reform a petition is not the way.
Have people out a tenner up on a Kickstarter or Patreon for new music/live shows.
Guarantee them a payday for their work.
Because as it stands now they have to make the investment to return and that's a big ask after so many years out.
