My memory of it is kind of sketchy, I'm sure its on my blog somewhere. I recall one of the band saying something along the lines of they were not 100% happy with it. But I could be wrong.

The documentary was released via Q mag online or somewhere similar. House of Mirrors video got aired somewhere too.

Thanks. Do you have the video of either? Don't recall seeing them, but even if I did I'd love to see them again. My memory is sketchy too

EDIT: OK I did see the documentary back then, it was on the NME website. It's on this page http://www.nmevideo.com/tags/doves along with others.

House of Mirrors promo doesn't ring a bell though, can you describe the video that might jog my memory?

EDIT: It's OK the majority of the video is in the documentary towards the end :). How on earth did I forget about all this? Getting old BLOWS.

Still be nice to have an official release of all this kinda stuff, not just KOR-era but everything going back to Lost Souls including the Jackson's Pit gig....but I won't go on as we already discussed this in another recent thread.

I did love KoR when it came out but then haven't really gone back to it much in the past couple of years. It was actually during the summer that I picked it up again.
And boy, what a rediscovered joy - so complex & layered in both mood & tone. I honestly don't recall being so fully captivated when originally released (& as I said I loved it 1st time around!). Favs are all still doing the business (KoR, Winter Hill etc) but I have to say one track that has newly taken hold & wiped the floor with me is The Greatest Denier. That bugger has totally gripped me & just won't let go!!

Ha ha. Don't let Rich see that, he hates that song!!

I've just had KoR on in the car for the first time in a very long time. 10:03 is still my favourite, it gives me goose bumps, but I've also realised how beautiful Winter Hill is.

Before KoR I was listening to Lost Souls. I love to hear the difference in Jimi's voice over the years. Still perfect but more gravelly these days, and I doubt he can hit those high notes anymore!

One day I will sing that to his face. It's on my bucket list at number 37.
