Didsbury Girl

Mesmerising vibe with the sea lapping on the beach. Spacey with all the hisses & squeaks – God I bet this sounds absolutely divine on vinyl. I Like how it goes to the minor before the chorus (just to tether us back to earth) – don’t think that was how it was sung live?

There you go. Knew you'd come good. :).

In time people will come to realise that this is the best song on the album. They just need time to get used to all the twists and turns; I think this has a lot going on. This also has the best groove that I have heard by not just Jimi, but by any recording artist in a long time. And it has a proper outro ;)

I get goosebumps during the first verse. "You won't get it wrong" always gets to me.

I wouldn't go that far! Ghost of the Empties sits easily with my top five fave Doves songs ever, hard to see that being taken over by any other track.

Are we still talking Ghost Of The Empties or are we actually back on topic now? :D. If Ghost, then go to the other bloody room! (just kidding :) )
