Sitting on the 24th floor of a Shanghai hotel watching birds wheel around the sky while listening to Didsbury Girl (6Music Festival). Sublime. And I'm not even drunk.

sounds like a movie scene....just before the action starts

You've obviously been able to discover the songs' true meaning there

I just can't get this out of my head, boy this song is all I think about....sorry couldn't resist, was a bit of a Kylie fan back in the day!!! (what girl wasn't if she's being truly honest, every girl loves to dance to a bit of dance-pop every now and then! :cat: Plus it does sound a bit like Blue Monday, there was a mashup done wasn't there?)

Anyway, I would file this alongside Snowden. Yes I think it's that good. Obviously totally different songs I just mean more in terms of how highly I rate this song. It's so soulful and actually would have fitted in rather well with the Northern Soul-inspired album that we all know as Some Cities.

I love it but more Goldfrapp than northern Soul I'd say

No I didn't say it was Northern Soul I meant that I think that it is soulful and would fit in on Some Cities. I get the Goldfrapp reference.
