I went last night. The room was half full, no seating upstairs, very weird gig. But being my hometown i've had some amazing gigs there before.

Doves did not disappoint at all. I believe it was their first time playing the larger Civic Hall as i've only ever seen them in the Wulfrun before.

Jimi was in great mood and referenced the Man City result and also the fact that Wolves are staying up which got a good reaction!

Highlights for me were The Cedar Room (Sounded Epic), Jetstream, Push Me On, Words & M62 Song was just gorgeous.

My only qualm was the crowd, it didn't really pick up until Kindom of Rust but when it got going we gave the boys a fantastic reception!

Ending on Spaceface was just brilliant too, i've only seen them do it twice before and both in Wolves, tonight's was far superior. It's just a shame they are going away for a while… roll on V!
